Nagyvillám was born from a dream, high above the Danube Bend, with exceptional views of the Citadel, the Danube and the surrounding mountains.

From the very beginning, it was important to us to preserve the intimacy of the place, the harmony of the landscape and its natural beauty. When designing the building, we therefore adapted it to its surroundings: the trees were integrated into the architecture, with their canopies left untouched. This close connection with nature has shaped Nagyvillám’s unique atmosphere ever since.

Our mission is to give our guests the opportunity to leave everyday life behind for a while and immerse themselves in everything Visegrád and the Danube Bend have to offer: peace and quiet, closeness to nature, a historic setting, breathtaking views, as well as the experience of lovingly prepared dishes and fine wines.

And from now on, this experience no longer has to be limited to just a few hours.

In 2027, Nagyvillám will be expanded with five unique guest rooms, inspired by the same landscape that surrounds our restaurant. The colours of the mountains, the forest, the Danube and the sky are reflected in five rooms, each with its own distinct atmosphere. Natural materials, understated elegance and calm, relaxing interiors await those who would like to stay with us a little longer.

Whether it is a romantic weekend, a family getaway, a trip to Visegrád or a restful stay after an event held with us, our aim is always the same: for our guests not merely to visit Nagyvillám, but to truly experience this special place.
